This East Longmeadow bathroom project transformed a small second-floor half bath into a fully functional three-quarter bathroom by expanding into an adjacent bedroom and reconfiguring the layout for improved usability.

The centerpiece of the upgrade is a custom tile shower built with the Schluter shower system, designed for durability and long-term performance. The shower features a Merola 2×2 Ocean Gray tile floor, complemented by 10×13 Ocean Gray and white tile on the walls and ceiling. A striking focal point is the decorative back wall in 24×48 Merola Marquetry Original tile, adding texture and visual interest to the space.

Functionality and storage were enhanced with Giallo Ornamental granite thresholds and built-in shelving, along with a custom Easco clear glass pivot shower door with 6-inch handles for a clean, modern look.

The bathroom is finished with Symmons Duro fixtures in satin nickel, including a shower system with handheld, along with matching accessories for a cohesive design. A Panasonic Whisper ceiling vent improves ventilation, making the space more comfortable and efficient.

The vanity area features a Dura Supreme Bria vanity in Alpine door style with Textured Laminate Oak Loft finish, topped with a Giallo Ornamental granite countertop and rectangular white sink. A Kohler Verdera medicine cabinet provides additional storage while maintaining a sleek profile.

Soft neutral tones continue throughout with Merola Ocean Gray tile half walls and Sherwin-Williams Gossamer Veil wall paint, creating a bright, balanced aesthetic. The space is completed with an American Standard Cadet 3 skirted toilet, maximizing comfort within the compact footprint.

The result is a highly functional and beautifully finished bathroom that makes the most of limited space while delivering the look and performance of a full custom renovation.
